Can I start for free?
Yes. Starter is £0 forever, up to 20 bookings a month, no card required. The main limits: card processing is 3.4% + 20p (vs 2.4% + 20p on Pro), and your booking page shows a small ctrl.detail mark.
What's the % on bookings fee?
On Pro (1%) and Growth (0.5%) we take a small slice of each paid booking. It's how we scale with you - the subscription stays flat while volume shifts, so a £3k month and a £6k month are priced fairly for both sides. Every invoice shows the exact breakdown.
Why are card rates higher than Stripe's 1.4% + 20p?
Stripe's headline rate doesn't include a bookable website, calendar, customer database, reminders, or any of the rest of the platform. Compare like-for-like to Booksy (2.49% + method fees) or Square (1.75% + seat fees) and the maths lines up. We mark up Stripe modestly so the subscription can stay low.
Can I switch tiers?
Any time, either direction. Upgrades kick in immediately with a pro-rated charge; downgrades take effect at your next billing date so you don't lose paid days.
Can I pay annually?
Not yet. Monthly only so cancelling is always one click and there's never a question of what's owed. We may add an annual option once enough people ask.
What happens if I cancel?
Your booking page comes down and your subscription stops. Client, vehicle and job history stays intact for 30 days - export any time, or reactivate exactly where you left off.
